Project Overview

In response to revisions to the Telecommunications Business Act, we executed a functional expansion project for the customer management support system “i-Front,” developed by Allexceed Inc., to bring the system into legal compliance within a short timeframe. We focused on screen UI and pricing logic, and carried out development, testing, and release in time for the enforcement date.

Client Challenges

Multiple non-compliant functions due to legal revisions
Against the new requirements, inconsistencies were found in fee display, discount calculations, and contract-related screen items. Continuing operations under the existing specifications was difficult, necessitating functional modifications to ensure compliance.

Leveraging extensive experience in enterprise system implementations, we prioritized legal conformity while proposing pragmatic solutions that also considered operations and user experience.

Minimally invasive UI updates to ensure compliance
Reviewed field layout, wording, and input controls to align with the new requirements while maintaining usability.

Review of calculation/display rules for legal alignment
Focused on processes related to legal requirements—such as applying discounts at contract signing and displaying amounts inclusive of construction fees—to normalize pricing behavior and ensure consistency with the new rules.

Schedule-driven plan for a rapid release
Executed development, testing, and release in line with the limited timeline up to enforcement, concentrating efforts on the necessary scope.

Support for merging into the release branch
Assisted with source code merges according to the client’s release-branch operations, helping resolve conflicts and streamline branch management for a smooth rollout.
