Project Overview
The objective of this project was to develop a desktop application for creating estimates for door sales, managing product information (such as door types and components), and handling pricing and related costs.
The application is equipped with a feature to export estimates as Excel files, allowing for easy printing and distribution to customers.
By developing the application in direct collaboration with the end-users, we successfully delivered a solution with specifications that emphasize practicality and ease of use.Tech Stack and Development Tools

The Client’s Challenges
The client was facing challenges with their estimation and product management processes, which were manual, inconsistent, and time-consuming:
- Information on door types and components was managed haphazardly across various Excel files, making it difficult to maintain control.
- The process of changing door or component prices was prone to errors.
- Creating estimates for each order was a laborious task, and the formats lacked uniformity.
- No existing software system met their specific needs for quotation management.

Our Proposal and Approach
We proposed the development of an end-user-centric desktop application designed based on the client’s actual business processes.
Our specific approach was as follows:- Directly communicating with end-users to accurately understand their workflows related to estimation, door management, components, and costs.
- Designing a simple and friendly user interface that is easy to navigate even for users not familiar with IT.
- Building a system that allows for flexible updates and management of door types, components, price lists, and related costs.
- Providing a feature to create detailed estimates for each order, with support for selecting product options.
- Integrating a function to export estimates to Excel in a professional format, suitable for sending to customers, printing, and internal archiving.
- Implementing auxiliary features to improve operational efficiency and user experience, such as a high-speed product search, estimate duplication, and a history of saved quotes.
Our solution standardized and optimized the client’s estimation process, becoming a powerful tool that supports the daily operations of their sales representatives.
